  • Chair: Vaughn Adamson

    Vaughn is a native of Huntsville. She is a retired health care executive and has enjoyed music as a hobby for many years. Vaughn has been a member of local concert bands and music groups and welcomes the addition of a Philharmonic Orchestra. She knows that there are so many talented musicians in Muskoka who will now have yet another venue through which to showcase their talents.

  • Vice-Chair: Allison Bent

    Allison is a timpanist/percussionist with two decades of professional ensemble experience that spans North America as well as advanced music degrees from Cleveland and Toronto. Allison has performed with top Canadian orchestras (TSO, Canadian Opera Company, National Ballet, and Winnipeg Symphony, to name a few). When not performing Allison has pursued Arts roles off stage in Orchestra Personnel Management, Artist Agent, Artistic Admin, and HR. Allison is passionate about bringing the beauty and transformative quality of classical music to diverse audiences.

  • Treasurer: Gerri Mar

    After attending the first concert of the Muskoka Philharmonic Orchestra, Gerri  knew she wanted to be involved with this talented group. Drawing on her  experience with community music organizations and a keen eye for finance, she is  happy to be part of this group as treasurer.

  • Carol Gibson

    Carol is a retired music educator who has been involved as a performer with many bands and orchestras across Ontario.  

    She has enjoyed playing French horn with MPO and is pleased to be on the MPO Board. 

  • Susan Fiorini

    Susan grew up in Huntsville and in the past has participated in community bands and choirs. She is the founder and owner of a successful small business and in her role as a business owner she has demonstrated strong leadership, sound management, and a commitment to excellence. Susan brings valuable insight and a community-oriented perspective to the Board, with a particular interest in supporting the orchestra’s mission and long-term sustainability. She is a dedicated advocate for the arts and recognizes their importance in fostering a vibrant and engaged community.
